Thanks 2 Cents for featuring my Lifestyle inflation article here. It's great to have been welcomed so whole-heartedly by other PF writers. Thank you for the kind words too. I'm sat in my desk with a massive smile on my face right now.

@Michael James - Thanks for checking out the article -I've also not found it too difficult to keep my lifestyle in check -perhaps because I got interested in the power of compound interest when I was still in college with no money. I made a commitment to myself that everything I do in my 20s will have a huge impact on how I can live the rest of my life.

Big Cajun Man - I would definitely love to read posts like that. Throw in some Rush and Trooper and I'm there!

Michael - Hey, maybe if your credit card company gets a little more annoying you can retire!

The lifestyle inflation article is interesting. I'm not sure what it says about me, but I've never had much difficulty reigning in spending when I've decided that's what I want to do. A couple of times I've become annoyed with my credit card company and have stopped using any credit card for a couple of months.

Hey, maybe I can start a trend and post articles like:

I like to Rock
and
American Woman

But then I would be showing my age. Thanks for the mention.
