20 Cents From December 2009

This is a selection of 10 articles I thought you might find interesting from the month of December, 2009. This is by no means a comprehensive list, and there were lots more I could have included.

1. Fiscal Fizzle gave us some great information on How to Write a Great Financial Mission Statement.
2. Ray at Financial Highway provided 7 Credit Score Myths you might not know about.
3. Gail Vaz-Oxlade had a nice post titled Happy Is As Happy Does.  It was a great reminder of the importance of attitude in everything we do.
4. Tom over at Canadian Finance Blog asked Do You Have Enough Insurance On Your Home? This a good thing to reassess periodically.
5. Rob Carrick at the Globe and Mail had a timely article on Why You Can, and Should, Give Generously to Charity.
6. Michael James On Money wrote about Modifying the 4% Rule. This was a great reminder that financial planning does not end at retirement.
7. Neal from Wealth Pilgrim had a guest post on Frugal Dad’s blog asking Are We Ever Done?
8. Canadian Capitalist posted a book review on You Can’t Eat Your Furniture by Robert Chown. I’m going to put this one on my reading list.
9. Phil Froats wrote a post asking How’s Your Pension? This is a good reminder to those with company pensions not to fall asleep at the switch. It ‘s a good idea to check on the health of your pension plan if you’re lucky enough to have one.
10. Over 2 days, Thicken My Wallet wrote about some good Lessons from 2009 (Part 1 and Part 2).
