About Balance Junkie
In search of a better balance in money and in life . . .
Balance is something we all seek in life. We live in a world that is increasingly busy, complex and filled with choice. The thought of finding balance is a very appealing idea but yet it remains a very difficult state to achieve.
The struggle to find time to devote to all aspects of life work, family, friends, health, religion, faith, achievement, etc is what this blog is all about.
Many years ago, Kim Petch started this blog as a personal finance blog. Today, this blog continues where many personal finance blogs stop. Although money is an incredibly important and complex part of our lives, we believe that life balance is about more than just money.
Kim is a Canadian. She lives in Southern Ontario with her husband and 3 sons. Her formal educational background is in English Literature, Education, and Psychology. Like many other financial bloggers out there, she came upon her knowledge of money and markets both accidentally and by necessity. She hopes that her writing helps others to make a change in order to improve people’s personal financial and life balance sheet.
Jim Yih is the father of 4 boys and continues to struggle with finding work life balance. He is a successful entrepreneur and one of Canada’s leading experts on financial issues. He is the author of 8 books and his writing can be found at Retire Happy Blog. Jim continues to write factual and information based articles but is excited to utilize his column at Balance Junkie to rant, talk about experiences and just share his 5 cents from time to time.
