Best of Money Carnival

The Best of Money Carnival is a unique weekly carnival in that only 10 posts are selected for inclusion each week. Many bloggers offer a weekly round-up, but you will often find the same group of blogs included each week. Since a different blog hosts the carnival each week, you find a wide variety of articles being selected.

In fact, Craig Ford of Money Help for Christians used a point scoring system based on Best of Money Carnival rankings to come up with the 21 Best Money Blogs of 2010: The Scientific Results. It looks like Balance Junkie came in at #6 – not bad for our rookie season. Thanks to Craig for compiling the data and highlighting these great blogs. :)

I began entering BJ posts in the Best of Money Carnival around March of 2010 and was honoured to be chosen for inclusion eleven times throughout the remainder of the year, with four of those articles reaching the number one ranking. It can’t be easy to choose the best ten posts from 40 – 80 weekly submissions, so I’m grateful to all of the hosts who take the time to put this carnival together each week.
